Event Details
Teaching and Learning Online is an introductory course in which participants become online students for five weeks in an online course facilitated by one or more instructors. They gain insight into the challenges and demands of being a virtual student, as well as experiencing the enjoyment of learning in this environment. By identifying strategies for building an online or mixed mode learning community teacher-students come to see the range of learning options that support interaction, collaboration, and social presence.
Note: This is an online course. You will be invited to take part in an Elluminate session at the beginning of the course to ensure that you can access the course and to have any of your questions answered by the facilitator. You will receive an email a few days before the course begins with the time of the meeting and with instructions on how to access Elluminate.
